Description:         A leading packaging manufacturer offering specialised products to key market sectors. We are currently looking to strengthen the Management Team and are interested in candidates with relevant flexibles experience in:
 
·        PE Extrusion
·        Flexographic Printing
·        Lamination
·        Conversion
·        Modified Atmosphere Packaging
 
Essential Skills:  
·        Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of production process and experience in line management.
 
·        Ability to develop an operational strategy to meet the business objectives in a lean manufacturing environment.
 
·        Ensuring budgetary targets are met in line with KPI.
 
·        Numerate, educated to degree level, or equivalent preferred.
 
·        Ensuring efficiency, Q.A. and H & S targets are met.
 
·        Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement in people, plant and process.

Vacancy           Print Manager, Britton Group

Salary:         Competitive salary benefits.

Location:      North East

Description: A major group supplying printed and printed/ converted flexible substrates producing bespoke and stock product for a diverse and growing international customer base is seeking to recruit a Print Manager.

Principal responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and managing a team of 25 Printers and Print Assistants working a shift system.
  • Leading a CI program and help develop an investment strategy for the department that will meet business objectives.
  • Ensuring necessary skills, efficiencies, quality and H&S objectives are maintained / improved as required.

Essential skills:

  • Practical application of flexographic printing skills in the flexibles film market.
  • Experience in line management/ supervision of personnel in a flexo print department.
  • Numerate, educated to degree level, or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment.

  • Site Operations Director
