Cellulose
Cellulose is a natural material which exists in the primary cell wall of green plants. More commonly known as cellophane, it is mistakenly believed to be a man-made plastic. It is the oldest packaging film used and still plays a key role in many applications.
It can be processed to give added flexibility, machinability and sealability. It is an option for those requiring a highly transparent naturally biodegradable film packaging for foods such as confectionery, baked goods, nuts, dried fruits and baking mixes.
